GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team will open the 2022-23 year with the two-day Elon Invitational on Monday, September 19, and Tuesday, September 20.

Format: 36 holes on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start; 18 holes on Tuesday

Last Season:
- The Spartans highlighted the first half of their season with a sixth-place finish at the Grandover Invitational, which they hosted.
- During the spring semester, UNCG topped that mark with its highest of the season, a fifth-place mark at the Pinetree Women's Collegiate in Kennesaw, Georgia.
- In their second to last tournament of the first semester, the Spartans shot a season-best 884 (+20) at the Palmetto Intercollegiate from October 25-26 on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
- At the 2022 SoCon Championships, UNCG placed seventh

This is the first time competing at the Elon Invitational for the Spartans.

The Spartans will host its only event of the 2022-23 season on Monday, September 26 to Tuesday, September 27. The Grandover Invitational will be a two-day, three-round event held on the East Course.
