College Soccer News 2022 Top 30 Men's Teams
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team, who is currently ranked 23rd in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll, climbed to No. 15 in the College Soccer News poll and No. 12 in TopDrawerSoccer rankings.
Currently, the Spartans are also No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches South Region sandwiched between ACC opponents Clemson at No. 5 and Louisville at No. 7.
Among the nation, the Spartans are third in goal differential (16), fourth in scoring offense (3.00), total goals 21), and total points (61), fifth in total assists (19), eighth in points per game (8.71), 11
th in won-lost-tied percentage (0.857), 15
th in assists per game (2.71) and shots on goal per game (7.57), 19
th in corner kicks per game (7.14), and 23
rd in shots per game (16.29).
Most recently, UNCG defeated Winthrop 2-0, for its second-straight shutout and third of the season. The Spartans are one of 23 teams in the country that are undefeated.
This has been the best start for the Spartans during Head Coach
Chris Rich's four years at the helm.

UNCG will travel to Buies Creek, North Carolina to face in-state foe Campbell University. The Spartans battle the Camels, who are 3-2-2 overall, on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m.
