GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team recorded its second three-set victory this season with a 3-0 win over South Carolina State University on Friday night in Fleming Gym.
The Spartans won its first game of the Tussle in the Triad Tournament with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, and 25-16.

- UNCG averaged a 0.440 hitting percentage during the first set, its highest of the match while keeping the advantage through the frame for a 25-7 win.
- The Spartans offense remained strong in the second set with a 0.400 hitting percentage.
- Two of Voegele's four service aces came in the second frame.
- The Bulldogs scored off an attacking error by the Spartans to tie the third set at one a piece, but UNCG concluded the match with a score of 25-16.
