Women’s Soccer To Play Furman in SoCon Quarterfinal

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team, who finished fifth in The Southern Conference (SoCon), will open tournament play against No. 4 Furman, tomorrow, Friday, October 27th.  
 
Western Carolina, who earned the No. 1 seed, will act as host at the Catamount Soccer Complex.
 
This will be the second time this season that the Spartans and Paladins face off. The regular season game ended with UNCG on top, 1-0.
 
This will be the first time since 2019 that the two teams have faced off in playoffs. They battled during the 2019 quarterfinal game, resulting in Furman winning, 1-0.
