Men’s Soccer Continues Road Slate at ETSU

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team continues The Southern Conference (SoCon) slate on Friday night with a battle against ETSU at Summers-Taylor Stadium set for 7:00 p.m.

The Spartans enter the contest 1-7-3 overall and 0-1-0 in the SoCon, while the Buccaneers are 3-5-2 overall and 0-0-1 in the conference.

SPARTAN QUICK HITTERS
  • The Spartans most recently fell to Furman, 1-0, in Greenville, South Carolina for both team's first SoCon match of the season.
  • Ethan Conley and Nabil Homssa lead the team with four points each. Conley has scored two goals, while Homssa has tallied one goal and two assists.
  • Colton Sessoms is third on the team with three points (1 G, 1 A).
  • Eight different Spartans have tallied a point this season, with six different players scoring a goal.

  • Gabriel Ramos is leading the offensive charge with six points (2 G, 2 A), while Chris McKenna is second with five points (2 G, 1 A).
  • Six different ETSU players have scored at least one goal, while nine players have tallied at least one point.
  • Hunter has started and played in net in six games giving up five goals, while Marc Kouadio has also given up five goals in four starts and appearances.
The Spartans continue their three-game road slate with a trip to Wilmington, North Carolina to face in-state non-conference foe UNC Wilmington on Tuesday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m.
