Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team fell to non-conference foe Radford University, 2-5, Tuesday afternoon at the UNCG Tennis Courts.
Radford took the first doubles point with
Christopher Johns and
Tymofiy Khrystyuk falling 6-2 in number two doubles.
The Spartans tied the match after
Harrison Gwynn and
Devon Moskowitz in number three doubles won, 7-6, and 7-3 in a tie breaker.
David Flisberg and
John Gabelic, in number one doubles fought hard sending their match into a tie breaker as well, but Radford came up on top 7-2.
Andrew Black, in number five singles, and
Wyatt Cannon, in number six singles earned the two wins for the Spartans. Black lost the first set, bounced back in the second set and ended up winning by retirement, while Cannon defeated his opponent with scores of 6-4, 6-4.
