GREENVILLE, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team fell to Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Furman on Sunday afternoon, in Greenville, SC.
How It Happened
Furman started off strong, taking the doubles point behind wins at number two and three doubles with scores of 6-1 and 6-2, respectively.
John Gabelic and
David Flisberg was the final doubles court to finish winning 6-3 at the number one slot. The pair is now 6-8 overall this season.
Freshman
Devon Moskowitz had his third singles win of the season going two sets, 6-2 and 6-4 finishing third.
Court four was the final match playing, as
Christopher Johns won set one, 6-4, and Emil Westling claimed set two, 6-4, forcing a third set, where Westling won the third set tie-breaker 7-6 (7-5).
