GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team fell to Campbell, 7-0 in its match on Thursday afternoon at the UNCG Tennis Courts.
How it Happened
John Gabelic and
David Flisberg won the first set of doubles, 6-3. Campbell came back winning the next two doubles, 6-3 on court two and three taking the doubles point.
The Camels continued the momentum in singles, winning all six four matches. The first four courts played straight sets.
Tymofiy Khrystyuk took the first set on court two, 7-6 (7-4), and Tomas Balazi bounced back with a 6-4 win in set two. With the match decided, Balazi went on to win the match tiebreaker 10-7.
David Flisberg went into two tie-breakers with Campbell's Lukas Steffen coming out on top, 7-5, 6-7(5-7), and 1-0 (13-11).
