Noah Connor and freshman
B.J. Boyce landed in the top-three individual leaderboard at the end of the Aggie Invitational at Bryan Park's Champions Course, hosted by North Carolina A&T. The Spartans competed as individuals only for this tournament.
Connor was one of three golfers to finish the 54-hole tournament at par or better. With a one-under-par (215) finish, the senior placed second overall. Connor shot one-over-par (73) in his final round effort, which proved to be the sixth-best effort in the final round. Connor's effort placed him one shot off a share of the lead.
Boyce's even-par (216) total score landed the freshman third overall. Scoring one of only two under-par rounds in the final 18 holes, Boyce's two-under-par (70) moved the freshman one spot up the leaderboard, one shot behind Connor.
Parker Truesdale rounded out the Spartans' effort with a 22-over-par (238) after a nine-over-par final round effort.
