GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team returns Wednesday night to host Triad foe High Point at the UNCG Soccer Stadium with a kick-off at 7 p.m.

Scouting High Point
Slated to finish third in the Big South, the Panthers started their season with a 2-2 tie against Campbell and a 1-0 loss against Marshall this past week. Starters senior Alex Deperno and junior Emily Mashinski were both selected for the Big South Preseason All-Conference team. During High Point's game against Campbell, the Panther's freshman Meg Roden scored her first collegiate goal.

- UNCG started the season blanking Army, 2-0 at home. This was the first time since 2020 that UNCG has started the season with a shutout.
- Mairead Gayer had her first collegiate goal and is nationally ranked fifth in game-winning goals (1).
- Ava Kiss had her second career game with an assist and goal. Haydan Erck earned her first collegiate assist.
- UNCG's eight freshmen have made at least one appearance in the first week of regular season play.
