Women’s Soccer Begins SoCon Play Hosting The Citadel Thursday

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team opens The Southern Conference (SoCon) play on Thursday evening hosting The Citadel at the UNCG Soccer Stadium with a start time of 5:00 p.m. UNCG enters the contest 3-5-1 overall, while The Citadel is 3-1-4 overall. Last season, the Spartans defeated the Bulldogs 4-0 in Charleston, S.C. to extend its streak to 22-0 against The Citadel, since 2001 which is when it added women's soccer.
