GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team dropped a 78-69 game to Southern Conference (SoCon) leading Samford on Thursday night at the Greensboro Coliseum.
With Keyshaun Langley's 19 points today, the guard bypassed the 1,500 career points milestone, bringing his total to 1,501. He is the 10
th Spartan to reach this milestone.

Kobe Langley tallied six assists which put him at 400 career assists. He now sits eighth in UNCG program history.
Mikeal Brown-Jones registered his sixth double-double of his career, registering 15 points and 11 rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans won the tipoff and Keyshaun took the ball straight to the basket and UNCG ran with a 9-0 lead with 17:06 on the clock. The Spartans climbed to an eight-point lead, 18-10, with 10:52 on the clock, before the Bulldogs drained back-to-back three pointers cutting the deficit to two, 18-16. UNCG held its largest advantage of nine six times in the first half with the final time with 2:13 on the clock, 39-30. Samford scored five-straight points, closing the gap to four, 39-35, before Kobe hit a last-second three pointer before heading to the break, 42-35.
Coming out of the locker room, Samford's Jaden Campbell recorded back-to-back three pointers within the first 1:30 of the half. Brown-Jones responded with a layup allowing the Spartans to maintain the lead at 18:02 on the clock. With the Spartans up 48-45, the Bulldogs put up a 9-2 run to take a 54-50 lead. After three more tied scores including the final, 60-60, with 6:09 left on the clock, Samford ran with the advantage for the rest of the game. A driving layup from Kobe put UNCG back within one, 63-62, with 4:12 left in the game, but the Bulldogs' 15-7 run during the final minutes gave them the 78-69 victory.
