HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team moved up two spots and is tied for sixth following round two play in the Low Country Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford, at Moss Creek Golf Club, on Saturday afternoon.  

TEAM

• The Spartans are tied for sixth overall in the 16-team tournament.
• UNCG finished round two with a 23-over-par (311) performance to bring its two-round total to 49-over-par (625).
• UNCG is tied with host Wofford and Boston University.
• The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe ETSU is first overall with a 26-over-par (602) score.
• Western Carolina is third, while Samford is ninth and is one stroke from UNCG.

INDIVIDUAL

• Ava Romfo moved up eight spots on the player leaderboard after a three-over-par (75) performance in round two making one birdie on the front nine and one on the back nine.
• Romfo is nine-over-par (153) and is tied for 14^th among the field.
• She is in a two-way tie for first with a 2.75 average in par threes.
• Holcomb is second for the Spartans with her two-day total of 10-over-par (154).
• Julia Baeumken moved up one spot and is tied for 35^th place after her six-over-par (78) second-round score.
• She is 14-over-par (158) following two rounds of play.  
• Elle Burnette is tied for 40^th place and moved up three spots after her seven-over-par (79) second-round score.
• Anna Bowman rounds out the Blue & Gold with her 24-over-par (168) total following two rounds of play and is tied for 73^rd.  

 
UP NEXT
The Spartans will compete in the final round tomorrow, Sunday, March 17 with a tee time of 9:30 a.m. UNCG will be paired with Appalachian State and USC Upstate, who are in fourth and fifth places, respectively.
