EATONTON, Ga. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team moved up one spot from its previous position to sit in fourth place after two rounds at the Linger Longer Invitational on Monday.
TEAM
- UNCG carded a 10-under-par (278) in Monday's second round for an overall score of 17-under-par (559) in the tournament.
- Alabama sits atop the leaderboard with a 37-under-par (539) after two rounds.
- The Spartans are in third place in par three's with a 3.00 average on the course.
- UNCG is in fourth place out of all 14 teams competing with 39 recorded birdies.
INDIVIDUAL
- Symon Balbin continues to pace the Spartans to stand in a tie for third place with a seven-under-par (137). Balbin carded a four-under-par (68) in round two.
- Randall Hudson and Kelvin Hernandez follow in behind Balbin in a tie for 17th place, moving up 12 positions from their previous position. Hudson and Hernandez both recorded a three-under-par (141) over the first two rounds.
- Jack Marcotte sits in a tie for 23rd place with an overall score of two-under-par (142)
- Noah Connor rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans with a one-over-par (145).
