EATONTON, Ga. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team finished in fifth place after carding a four-over-par (292) in the final round of the Linger Longer Invitational on Tuesday.
TEAM
- UNCG finished the three-round tournament with an overall score of 13-under-par (851) after shooting rounds of 281-278-292.
- The Spartans finished ahead of nine teams with 14 total teams competing in the tournament.
- Alabama claimed first place at the tournament with a total score of 40-under-par (824).
NDIVIDUAL
- Symon Balbin finished atop the leaderboard for the Spartans in a tie for 16th place with a total score of four-under-par (212). Balbin carded his best score of the tournament in the second round on Monday with a four-under-par (68).
- Kelvin Hernandez followed just in behind Balbin in a tie for 20th place after recording a three-under-par (213). Hernandez' best score of the tournament also came in the second round of the event with a two-under-par (70).
- Noah Connor and Jack Marcotte both finished in a tie for 31st place after notching an even par score (216) over the three-day tournament.
- Randall Hudson rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans to finish in a tie for 34th place with a one-over-par (217).
