SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 contest at Wofford on Tuesday afternoon at the Reeves Tennis Center.

The Terriers earned the first doubles match with Ashe Ray and Ian Rasheed defeating
Christopher Johns and
Tejas Wall, 6-2.
Tymofiy Khrystyuk and
Luke Thomson bounced back to claim a dominating match over Max Graham and Hugo Rask, 6-1 on court two. However, the Terriers were able to bounce back to earn the final doubles match to head into singles play up 1-0.

Khrystyuk put the Spartans on the board by claiming a battle over Ray, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (12-10) on court one to tie the match 1-1. The Terriers were able to respond by claiming the final five singles points for the 6-1 win. Despite this,
Luke Thomson closed out the match by putting up a fight that ultimately went the way for Rasheed, 6-4, 6-7 (6-8), 1-0 (10-7).
