BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team fell in a 6-1 matchup at Campbell on Thursday at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
The Camels claimed the first doubles match on court one, but
Hampus Johansson and
John Gabelic bounced back to earn the second match over Noe Macquart and Luke Tollenaar, 6-4 on court three. Campbell responded by claiming the final doubles match to head into singles play up 1-0.
Campbell continued its momentum by earning the first five singles points to clinch the match and take the 6-0 lead over the Spartans.
Devon Moskowitz was able to give UNCG its only point of the day after claiming a tiebreaking contest with Matias Lofink on court six, 7-5, 7-6 (8-6).

The Spartans will return to Greensboro this weekend to host Gardner-Webb on Saturday, March 23 at 2:30 p.m. at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center. UNCG will stay at home on Sunday, March 24 to take on Mercer at 1 p.m. at UNCG Tennis Courts.
