GREENSBORO, N.C. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team fell in a 6-1 contest to Chattanooga at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday.
The Mocs were able to start the match off by gaining the doubles point for the 1-0 lead. However,
Juliana Craft and
Lauren Thomson put up a battle with Carolina Gibbens and Madlena Orlova on court two ending the way for the Mocs, 7-5.
Sydney Bly put the Spartans on the board on court five with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Alice Hall. However, the Mocs were able to bounce back by earning the next five singles points for the 6-1 win.
Raegan Mitchell put up the biggest fight for the Spartans on court six with Emma Pedretti, 7-6 (7-3), 0-6, 5-7.
