However, UNCG was still able to walk away with the 4-3 victory.
"It was great to get the win today at home," said Gabelic. "Even though we didn't play at our best level I'm proud of the guys and everyone fought well! Excited to get another win on Friday."
"After losing tight doubles matches on #1 and #2 and just losing some important points in my own doubles match at #1 it felt really good winning my singles match and clinching the win after being down in the last set," stated Flisberg. "I think for the team it was an important win after losing a few tough conference matches. Even though it was not perfect we came away on top which I think gives us some good confidence going forward to our next conference match on Friday against The Citadel."
