RALEIGH, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team currently stands in second place after shooting a 15-over-par (583) in the first two rounds of the Stitch Intercollegiate at Loonie Poole Golf Course on Friday.
TEAM
- UNCG shot rounds of 293-290 standing in second place, just behind host school, N.C. State.
- The Wolfpack are leading all 12 teams with a 13-over-par (581).
- As a team, the Spartans are pacing all teams in three statistical categories after day one: par fours averages (4.19), par fives averages (4.85), and birdies (31).
INDIVIDUAL
- Tommy Lamb stands in a tie for first place with five other individuals with a one-over-par (143). Lamb shot his best score of the day in the second round with a two-under-par (69).
- Randall Hudson follows in behind Lamb in a tie for eighth place after carding rounds of 75-70 for a three-over-par (145). Hudson is leading all players on the field with a 4.00 par four average.
- Kelvin Hernandez and Symon Balbin come just behind Hudson, standing in a tie for 10th place with a four-over-par (146).
- Noah Connor stands in a tie for 15th place after shooting a five-over-par (147).
- Jack Marcotte follows Connor standing tied for 25th place with a seven-over-par (149).
- Andrew Graham sits in a tie for 61st place after earning a 16-over-par (158).
- Samuel Davidson rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans in 74th place after shooting a 23-over-par (165).
