MACON, Ga. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team fell in a 7-0 contest at Mercer on Saturday afternoon at the Leroy Peddy Tennis Center.
The Bears were able to start the contest off by gaining the doubles point. However,
Lauren Thomson and
Juliana Craft put up a hard fight with Mariella Minetti and Tea Zivic on court three, ultimately going the way for Mercer, 6-4.
Mercer was able to continue its momentum into singles play by claiming all six singles matches for the 7-0 win.
Olivia Gallagher put up the biggest battle in singles play on court three going the way for Emi Cosatti, 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6).
