AUSTIN, TEXAS. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team stands in ninth place after round two of the NCAA Regionals on Tuesday at The University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas.

TEAM

• UNCG carded a one-over-par (285) in the second round of the regionals for an overall score of five-over-par (573).
• The Spartans are leading all 13 teams with 127 total pars.
• The squad is third in the field with a 3.13 average on par threes.
• UNCG is pacing Arkansas State, Kansas City, San Joe State and Grand Canyon in that order.
• Texas stands atop the leaderboard with a 22-under-par (546) after two rounds.

INDIVIDUAL

• Kelvin Hernandez continues to pace the Spartans in a tie for 10^th place with rounds of 67-72 for a three-under-par (139).
• Hernandez remains as one of nine individuals to have collected an eagle on the field.
• Randall Hudson moved up seven positions to sit in a tie for 25^th place after shooting an even par (71) on Tuesday for an overall score of one-over-par (143).
• Hudson is pacing all individuals with 30 pars.
• Noah Connor moved up 17 positions on the leaderboard behind his two-under-par (69). Connor stands at an overall two-over-par (144) to sit in a tie for 37th. 
• Symon Balbin comes in behind Connor in a tie for 50^th place after recording a two-over-par (73) in the second round.
• Jack Marcotte came in as a sub on Tuesday to notch a four-over-par (75) in round two.

The Spartans will close out the NCAA Regionals for the final round tomorrow Wednesday, May 15 at The University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas. UNCG will be paired with Georgia and Arkansas, teeing off at 8:25 a.m. CST.
