Southern Conference Announces Preseason Poll and Teams
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team has been selected to finish third in The Southern Conference (SoCon) Preseason Poll following voting completed by the league's six head coaches.
UNCG received one first-place vote. Mercer finished first in the poll and was followed up by Wofford in second. Both programs got two first-place votes. Furman was slotted at fourth behind UNCG, also with one first-place vote. ETSU was voted fifth and followed up by VMI to round out the preseason rankings.
The SoCon men's soccer head coaches also selected an 11-member all-conference preseason team. UNCG garnered a pair of selections to the team with sophomore
Arnaud Tattevin voted in as a forward and senior
Basile Marc named to the team as a midfielder.

- Ranked third in the SoCon in goals per game (0.438) and fourth for total goals (7) last season
