GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team will compete at the Evie Odom Invitational hosted by Old Dominion on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at Princess Anne Country Club.

THE FORMAT 
Round one will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Thursday with the second round on Friday. The third and final round will be held on Saturday at 8:00 a.m., going off holes one and ten. 
 
Schools Competing (13) 
UNCG, South Alabama, Old Dominion, Penn State, Maryland, Colorado State, Coastal Carolina, Richmond, Georgia, James Madison, Furman, University of North Florida and Tennessee (as Individuals).  
 
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE SPARTANS 

• UNCG most recently competed in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Arkansas from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas. 

• UNCG finished in 10th place with an overall score of 92-over-par (956) with rounds of 318-322-316. 

• The Spartans carded 28 birdies and 132 pars over the three-round tournament 

• Kasey McIlvaine finished on top for the Spartans in a tie for 34th place with an overall score of 19-over-par (235).  

SPARTANS THIS SEASON 

• The Spartans opened the 2025-26 season with a seventh-place finish at the Golfweek Caledonia from Sept. 7-9 at Caledonia Golf Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. UNCG turned in an overall score of 19-over par (871). 

• Freshman Chanelle Mwangi is fourth in The Southern Conference (SoCon) with a stroke average of 71.67.
