GREENSBORO, N.C. – The No. 19 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team will take on The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Wofford at UNCG Soccer Stadium on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The last time Wofford beat UNCG in Greensboro was on Oct. 3, 2017.  

SERIES HISTORY VS WOFFORD 
This matchup dates back to 1997 in UNCG's inaugural season with the SoCon.. The Spartans hold a 28-8-2 record over the Terriers. In the last five matchups, UNCG holds a 3-1-1 record.  
 
ABOUT THE SPARTANS     

• The Spartans were voted first in the 2025 SoCon Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning four out of the six first-place votes and totaling 24 points.    

• UNCG ranks 19th  in RPI with a 3-0-3 record against Quad 1 and Quad 2 teams this year.  

• Enzo Dovlo was named to the Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List with seven goals and six assists this season.  

• Dovlo is nationally ranked 16th in points (20), 19th in assists (6) and 21st in total goals (7).    

• Goalkeeper Seth Wilson has stepped up his play these past three matches with two shutouts and 10 saves combined.  

• Arnaud Tattevin is second on the team in goals with five, while also having two assists on the season.    

• Steven Hernandez is third on the team in total points with nine (4G,1A).  

• The trio of Dovlo, Tattevin and Hernandez have scored 17 out of the 29 goals this season.  

• Julien Le Bourdoulous has two goals and four assists this season.   

• Longo is third on the team in assists this year with three.  

• Sami Lachekar is a goal scoring threat in the backline, scoring two goals and two assists this season.  

• Colton Sessoms scored in two out of the past three games. 

• The Spartans boast 13 players that have scored points for the team this season.    

• The Spartans boast one of the best offenses in the nation and are ranked  13th in total goals (29), 18th in total points (82),22nd  in scoring offense (2.23), 23rd  in points per game (6.31), 32nd in total assists (24) and is 37th shots on goal per game (6.00).   

• The Spartans concluded the 2024 season 10-2-5 overall and 3-1-1 in SoCon and a shared Regular Season Title.   

• The squad boasts 11 returners from last season and nine seniors heading into this season.    

SCOUTING WOFFORD 

• Wofford enters the match 5-7-1 in the season and 1-1 in SoCon play. 

• The Terriers are currently in a three-way tie for third with UNCG and ETSU.  

• Wofford is led by first year head coach Ryan Osborne, who in his four-year coaching career is 37-12-4.  

• The Terriers are led in scoring by Nathan Simes, who has eight goals and four assists on the season.  

• Kalle Rahbek is Wofford's main playmaker with five assists this season while also scoring three goals.  

• Jakob Anderson is currently sitting at 20 career assists; he has three so far this season, and with one more he will tie Wofford's DI record.  

• Wofford is 2-32-1 all-time against ranked opponents.
