GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team enters the Third Round, Sweet Sixteen, of the 2025 NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in its DI history. The Spartans return to Raleigh, North Carolina to rematch 15th seed North Carolina State at Dail Stadium on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY VS NC STATE
This matchup dates to 1980, when UNCG was still in DIII. The series is tied 5-5-1 all-time. The last matchup was on Oct. 23, where then-ranked No. 3 NC State drew UNCG in Raleigh, North Carolina. Enzo Dovlo scored the only goal for the Spartans in the 55th minute and goalkeeper Seth Wilson saved 10 shots in the match.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE SPARTANS
UNCG drew No. 2 Virginia 2-2 after double overtime then defeated the Cavaliers, 4–3, in penalty kicks Sunday night at Klöckner Stadium. Issah Haruna was named TopDrawer Soccer Midfielder of the Week after recording one goal and one assist in the match.

Arnaud Tattevin is leading the team and is tenth in the nation in goals with 12, while also having two assists on the season. He was sixth in the nation in game winning goals before the start of the NCAA Tournament. During the SoCon Tournament, he scored four goals in three games played and was named to the All-Tournament team.

The Spartans boast one of the best offenses in the nation and are ranked sixth in total goals (45), 13th in total points (129), 21st in scoring offense (2.05), 25th in total assists (37) and 30th in points per game (5.86).
