JOHNSON CITY, TENN. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe ETSU on Sunday afternoon at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first half, where the Bucs held a 7-3 shot advantage and both teams had two shots on goal, it was ETSU who found the back of the net first in the contest.
ETSU's Ruby Teixieira found the back of the net with assists from Caroline Wawak and Kassie Estep at 74:35, giving the Bucs a 1-0 lead.
UNCG was unable to find the game-equalizer in the final 15 minutes of play and ultimately fell to the Bucs by a 1-0 final score.
