LAST TIME OUT
- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's & women's track teams competed in the two-day VertKlasse Meeting last weekend at Vert Stadium, hosted by High Point.
- Ayzia Jefferson and the women's 4x400-meter relay team broke school records. Eight from the men's team clocked in personal best marks, while six from the women's side ran personal best times.
- Jefferson clocked in a personal best time of 12.37 in the 100-meter sprint. Her time broke both her and Alana Hill's previous mark of 12.52, which was set this season at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge.
- The women's 4x400-meter relay team comprised of Hill, Jefferson, Lily Butler and Maddison McIntyre broke a 16-year-old school record with their time of 4:01.05. This time placed them 15th out of 23 teams at the meet. The mark beat a time of 4:07.68, which was set on March 24, 2010, at the 2010 SoCon Outdoor Championships.
- McIntyre also competed in the 400-meter participate section, where she clocked in a personal best time of 59.18. Her time ranked 19th overall out of 81 competitors at the meet and it is second in the UNCG records.
- In the 1500-meter run, Khalid Abdullahi led the Spartans with a personal best time of 3:52.74 finishing second out of 90 competitors. His time is now sixth all-time in the UNCG record book.
