RALEIGH, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's & women's track teams sent nine to the Raleigh Relays that took place from Thursday to Saturday at Paul Derr Track in Raleigh, North Carolina.
 
Emery Anderson clocked in a new UNCG school record in the 400-meter run. Anderson ran a time of 49.18, placing him 75^th out of 127 competitors. He was second in his heat of eight runners. Anderson's time broke the previous school record time of 50.83 clocked by Terry Wyatt on March 19, 2010, in the Wake Forest Open.
 
Khalid Abdullahi was the only Spartan to run a personal best time. He ran a time of 14:28.12 in the 5000-meter run, which is 16 seconds better than his previous mark. He finished in 111th place out of 227 competitors, as he took first in his heat of 24 runners.
 
On the women's side, Alana Hill's time of 1:00.73 in the 400-meter run is now third all-time in the UNCG record book. She finished 119^th out of 129 competitors.
 
Hailey Meyers's time of 17:23.49 in the 5000-meter run is now sixth best in the UNCG record book. Her time placed her 131st out of 221 and seventh in her heat of 23 runners.
