GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's and women's track teams will begin postseason competition with The 2026 Southern Conference (SoCon) Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Monday and Tuesday in Cullowhee, North Carolina, at Catamount Athletic Complex.
Tuesday's action will air live on ESPN+ beginning at 1:30 p.m.

MEET/FACILITY HISTORY
- Last year, the championships were contested at Samford.
- The Bulldogs swept the men's and women's SoCon Championships last year for the fifth-straight year.
- This year marks the 101st championship for the men and the 39th for the women.

HOW THE MEN LINE UP AT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Khalid Abdullahi is pacing the Spartans on the SoCon Outdoor Performance List and is sitting fifth with his time of 3:49.88 in the 1500-meter run from the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic this season. Samuel Barnard's time of 3:54.96 in the event from the Wake Forest Invitational is 13th on the list.
- Abdullahi is also eighth on the SoCon Performance List in the 5000-meter run with his time of 14:28.12 from the Raleigh Relays.
- Luke Hühn is in the top 10 of the SoCon List with his time of 14:39.79 in the 5000-meter run.
- Emery Anderson is sitting 10th on the Performance List with his UNCG school record time of 49.18 in the 400-meter run from the Raleigh Relays.
- This season, the men's 4x400-meter relay team, including Jeremiah Jones, Barnard, Glodi Mvovi and Anderson ran a UNCG record time of 3:20.86 at the Bob Davidson Memorial at High Point. Their time is fourth overall on the SoCon Performance List.
HOW THE WOMEN LINE UP AT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Hailey Meyers is set to compete in two events at the Championships. Meyers is 11th on the SoCon Performance List in the 5000-meter run with her personal best time of 17:11.36. She is also ranked 18th on the SoCon Performance List in the 1500-meter run with her personal best time of 4:42.26.
- Tenley Douglass is also set to compete in the 5000-meter run. She ran a personal best time this season of 18:07.67 and is ranked in the top 25 of the Performance List.
- Ayzia Jefferson will compete in both the 100- and 200-meter sprints at the Championships, where she broke both UNCG school records. She ran a time of 12.37 in the 100-meter run at the VertKlasse Meeting this year. She then broke the 200-meter record twice, most recently at the Wake Forest Invitational with a time of 25.03.
- Joelle Tonne's personal best time of 2:18.91 in the 800-meter run is sitting 19th on the SoCon Performance List.
- The Spartans' 4x400-meter relay team, which included Alana Hill, Jefferson, Lily Butler and Maddison McIntyre set a school record time of 4:01.05 this season at the VertKlasse Meeting.
