GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team will begin the 2026-27 season by hosting the Bryan National Collegiate from Sept. 12-13 at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina.

THE FORMAT 
The 13 teams will compete in three total rounds with two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both days will be an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.

SPARTANS LAST SEASON 

• UNCG finished in fourth place at The 2026 Southern Conference (SoCon) Championships behind a nine-over-par (861) with round scores of 289-290-282.
• The Spartans carded their best finish of the 2025-26 season at the Dorado Beach Collegiate, notching third place with a three-under-par (285).
• UNCG recorded six top-10 finishes last year.
• Kelvin Hernandez returns for his senior season after earning the automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Regionals after securing first place in the 2026 SoCon Championships.
• Hernandez fired off rounds of 67-72-65, setting a new course record in the final round.
• The Caguas, Puerto Rico, native's appearance in the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional marked the 10^th time in the UNCG Division I era that the Spartans have made an NCAA Regionals appearance as either a team or individual.
• In addition, it was the second time in his collegiate career competing at the NCAA Regionals.

LAST TIME HOSTING BRYAN NATIONAL COLLEGIATE

• UNCG finished the Bryan National Collegiate in fifth place behind rounds of 293-294-290 for a 13-over-par (877).
• Wake Forest claimed first-place at the tournament with a 24-under-par (840).
• B.J. Boyce carded a career-low round of 64 at the event, to finish the tournament in third place.
• Boyce recorded a four-over-par (76) during round one before notching rounds of 67-64 for a nine-under-par (207).
• Hernandez followed in behind Boyce to finish in a tie for 15^th place with a three-over-par (219) with rounds of 70-75-74.
