PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team moved up five spots, tying for seventh, following the completion of round two of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
TEAM
- UNCG carded a round two score of nine-over-par (293) and is tied with Old Dominion for seventh place out of the 23 teams.
- The Spartans have a two-round total of 14-over-par (582).
- Lipscomb (T11th), Stetson (T11th), Coastal Carolina (T9th) and ETSU (T9th) are four teams that were above the Spartans following yesterday's round one scores.
- The Spartans are eighth with 112 pars and tied for 10th with 23 birdies.
- UNC Wilmington moved up eight spots to take the lead following a three-under-par (281) round two team score.
- ETSU is tied for ninth with a 16-over-par (584) total, while Mercer is 17th with a 31-over-par (599) performance following two rounds of play.
INDIVIDUAL
- Freshman Wilma Siwers moved up six spots and is tied for 10th place after a one-over-par (72) round two scorecard. She is even-par (142) after two rounds of play.
- Classmate Baker Hudson is the next Spartan on the player leaderboard, tying for 24th out of the 120 competitors. She carded a three-over-par (74) on the second day for a combined score of three-over-par (145).
- Senior Kasey McIlvaine is tied for 37th overall with her five-over-par (147) two-round performance.
- Senior Elle Burnette moved up on the leaderboard following an even-par (71) round two score and is tied for 50th overall with a total of six-over-par (148).
- Rounding out the Spartans is freshman Eva Brown, who is tied for 102nd with her score of 15-over-par (157).
