Entering 2006 Season
Team co-captain...will be counted on to provide experience to a group that features only two seniors on the roster...will compete for time on the back line as a senior...has appeared in 61 matches and 168 games during her three years at UNCG...has compiled 278 digs for a 1.66 per game average.
Junior Season (2005)
Made five starts and appeared in 29 matches in her junior season with UNCG...saw court time in 71 games...finished sixth on the team with 127 digs and with 1.79 digs per game...recorded a season-high 12 digs on four occasions, including consecutive matches at Western Carolina (10/16) and at Georgia Southern (10/22)...had three service aces and 12 digs at Furman (11/5)...was awarded the SoCon Commissioner’s Medal for academic excellence...also named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll for the 2005-06 academic year.
Sophomore Season (2004)
A solid contributor in 96 games for the Spartans...ranked sixth on the club with 151 digs and was fifth with 1.57 digs per game...dished out 16 assists and had five kills on the year...came up with a career-high 14 digs against High Point (9/22/04)...had three double-digit dig totals for the season.
Freshman Season (2003)
Provided the team with solid depth at the libero position...saw action in one game.
High School
Played at Orange HS in Hillsborough, NC, under the direction of her father and head coach Wade Heverly...earned all-state honors in 2000-01 and all-conference from 1999-2003...garnered MVP honors in 2000...played second base in softball for one season, earning all-conference recognition...also competed as a forward on the soccer team, taking MVP honors in 2001.
Club
Competed for seven seasons in
Durham with the DOVE club team and head coach Wade Heverly...earned USAV All-Tournament honors in 2002 as a setter...also garnered All-Region honors in 2001.
