High School: Earned three varsity letters at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio for coach Bill Slinger ... earned first-team all-city honors ... played in the Southwest Ohio League All-Star game ... also was named honorable mention all-state ... helped lead his team to a district championship as a sophomore ... was an honor student all four years as well.
