2018 (Redshirt Senior): Second on the team with 28 appearances, logging 48.1 innings … Earned a 5-1 record with three saves and struck out 30 hitters … Held opponents to a .231 average against and led all pitchers with three runners picked off … Stranded 61 percent of inherited runners … Career-best 3.1 innings pitched in games against North Carolina A&T (Apr. 2), Western Carolina (Apr. 8) and Wofford (May 25) … Struck out a career-best five in 3.0 innings of work at Wofford (Apr. 28) … Logged multiple innings in 15 outings … Earned his first career save against Appalachian State (Feb. 17) … Earned another save in a 3.0 innings outing at Wofford (Apr. 28) … Picked up his final save in a seven-inning victory at The Citadel (May 13), the win clinched the 2018 Southern Conference Regular Season Championship outright … Earned wins against Winthrop (Mar. 14), High Point (Mar. 21), Western Carolina (Apr. 8), Samford (Apr. 22) and in the SoCon Tournament against Wofford (May 25).

2017 (Redshirt Junior): Made six appearances out of the bullpen… Earned a 6.00 ERA in 6.0 innings… Struck out six hitters and did not allow a home run… Season-long 2.0 innings, scattering two hits and striking out three hitters against Wake Forest (Feb. 21)… Worked an inning against Lafayette allowing just one hit in a victory over Lafayette (Mar. 16)… Worked back-to-back scoreless innings against UNC Asheville (Mar. 28) and Elon (May 2)… Struck out one hitter in each of his final three appearances. 

2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in 13 games all out of the bullpen… Earned a 13.09 Earned Run Average… Worked in 11.0 innings going 0-1 during the season… Struck out 10 batters… Worked a season-high 1.2 innings against Elon (Feb. 23)… Struck out a season-high two batters on three occasions… Worked a scoreless inning against Binghamton (Feb. 28) striking out one batter… Earned another scoreless outing against UNCW striking out a batter (Mar. 9)… Tossed a scoreless frame against Marist (Mar. 20) and fanned a batter… Worked another scoreless outing against Campbell (Mar. 30) in an 8-2 victory.

2015 (Sophomore): Redshirted due to NCAA transfer rules.

2014 at Gardner-Webb: Made 16 appearances and was a valuable middle relief man as a true freshman … Made one start … Was 0-0 with a 4.63 ERA in 23.1 innings pitched … Fanned 14 batters and allowed only three extra base hits, and no home runs … Allowed only six runs in relief after February 23 … Worked 3.2 scoreless innings and fanned three vs. Rider (3/19) … Fanned three in 2.0 scoreless innings vs. Wofford (3/26) … Had 2.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts vs. VMI (3/28) … Recorded seven relief appearances in a row without allowing a run … Made lone start in a no decision at USC Upstate (4/2) … Faced two batters in a scoreless effort vs. North Carolina (5/13) … Worked a scoreless inning in his final appearance of the season vs. Liberty in the Big South Conference Tournament (5/20) first round … Had a 1.17 ERA in five relief appearances in Big South Conference games.

High School: Standout performer at Randleman (N.C.) High under Coach Shawn Barker … Earned Class 2A All-State honors in 2013 after batting .373 and forging a strong season on the mound with a 5-1 record and 1.83 ERA … Fanned 45 batters and walked just three in 41.0 innings of work … Helped team to a 25-6 record … Also earned All-State honors from NCPreps.com … A 2013 Atlantic Region honorable mention selection by Perfect Game … Led team to a 29-6 record as a junior … Also an All-State selection after going 11-2 with a 1.45 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 77.0 innings of work … Closed the season with 33.0 consecutive scoreless innings … Helped team to a Class 2A state runner up finish in 2012 … Helped squad to a state title as a sophomore … Posted a 27-6 career pitching ledger … Also a standout for Randolph County Post 45 on the American Legion circuit.
