Appeared in and started all 49 games … Batted .304, which was third on the team … Was one of three UNCG batters to hit over .300 … He also had 55 hits, which was second on the team … Was one of four UNCG players to have at least 50 hits … Scored 36 runs, had six doubles, one triple, five home runs, and 33 RBIs … Had a .413 on-base percentage and a .431 slugging percentage … Was second on the team with 19 multi-hit games … Hit a pair of solo home runs against The Citadel on April 23 … Had four hits and drove in three runs against High Point on April 27 … Had three hits against N.C. Junior (2020)
Started all 16 of the Spartans' contests in 2020, drawing a team-high 13 walks on the year ... had two knocks and a run against Virginia Tech (2.15) ... drove in a run and drew to walks against San Diego State (2.16) ... had a walk and a knock against Fairfield (2.23) ... drove in two runs on a single and a sac fly against Charlotte (2.25) ... drew seven walks over three games against App State, including four in the series finale (3.1), also had an intentional walk in that contest ... extended his hitting streak to three games at No. 25 North Carolina with an RBI single (3.3) ... opened the Maryland Eastern Shore with hits in each of the first two contests of the series (3.6-3.7), crossing home plate twice in that second contest.
Sophomore (2019)
One of four Spartans to appear in all 54 games along with Caleb Webster, Austin Embler and Jacquez Koonce … ranked in the top five of six major statistical categories including walks (1st-29), hit by pitch (1st-6), on-base percentage (3rd-.391), hits (3rd-58), RBI (5th-27), batting average (5th-.289) … tallied 16 multi-hit games over the course of the season and five multi-RBI contests … first multi-RBI game came against Quinnipiac (Feb. 16) where he finished 1-for-3 with two RBI in the win … had a pair of base knocks against High Point (Feb. 19), finishing 2-for-5 from the plate … came through with two RBI and two runs versus Penn (March 4) as he finished 1-for-4 with two RBI and two runs … wrapped up the game at Winthrop (March 5) with two hits … had a pair of two-hit, two-RBI games against Princeton on March 9 and March 10, resulting in one run and one stolen base in each game … closed out a doubleheader against Jacksonville (March 16) by finishing 2-for-5 from the plate with a run and an RBI … began his season-long 15-game hitting streak with a double against N.C. A&T (March 19) … opened SoCon play with a 2-for-5 game against Mercer (March 22) as he contributed one run and one RBI … finished off the Wake Forest (March 26) game with two hits and two runs scored … recorded five straight two-hit games between March 30 and April 6 against Western Carolina (twice), Furman (twice) and High Point (once) … contributed one RBI and a double, finishing 1-for-4 at the plate in the process, against North Carolina (April 9) … collected the final hit of his streak against George Mason (April 14), finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI in the process … emerged with two hits, including his fourth double of the season, at Samford (April 20) … had his first three-hit game of the slate against The Citadel (April 27), recording two runs and an RBI in the process … was 4-for-5 from the plate against VMI (May 10) … tallied his only triple of the season against Wofford (May 17), where he finished 1-for-5 from the plate with three RBI and a run scored … came through with his final multi-hit game of the slate at the SoCon Baseball Championships against Mercer (May 24), wrapping up the game 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Freshman (2018)
Played in all 54 games making 53 starts at first base … Hit for a .262 average with 11 extra-base hits … Drove in 21 runs and scored 35 times … Hit 10 doubles and a triple … Stole two bases and laid down two sacrifice bunts … Earned a .989 fielding percentage … Drew 28 walks on the year … 14 multi-hit games … Five multi-RBI games … Season-long eight game hit streak … Reached base in 20-straight games … Season-high three hits at Wofford (Apr. 29), going 3-for-5 with two runs scored … Drove in a season-high two RBI against Oakland (Feb. 20), Lafayette (Mar. 9), Lafayette (Mar. 10), Georgetown (Mar. 30) and in the SoCon Tournament against VMI (May 24) … Scored multiple runs in 10 games and a season-high three against The Citadel (May 11).
Prior to UNCG
Earned three letters at Topsail High… was a two-time All-Conference Honorable Mention before earning Pender County Player of the Year… All-Conference and All-Area as a senior after hitting for a .457 average… Hit eight doubles and two home runs… Hit at a .305 average as a junior with eight doubles and a homer, with four stolen bases… As a sophomore, hit for a .323 average with three doubles… In the summer, played for the 15U Dirtbags Daly and was WABA Perfect Game All-Tournament team… Was a member of the National Honor Society.
