Named to the SoCon Sports Media Association Baseball All-Conference Second Team … Finished the season with an 8-2 record and a 3.30 earned run average … He appeared in 20 games and made two starts … Parsley recorded a save against VMI on May 20 ... In addition, he struck out 62 batters to lead the Spartans with a season-high six twice in games against Mercer on April 11 and Samford on May 14 … Allowed one run over five innings in an 11-4 win over Samford … Won his first two starts of the season against High Point on Feb. 28 and Elon on March 6 … From April 23-20, he won three consecutive starts: The Citadel (April 23), High Point (April 27) and Western Carolina (April 30) … He was second in the SoCon in strikeouts looking (29), third in wins (eight), fifth in earned run average (3.30), and ninth in opponents batting average (.261).
Redshirt Junior (2020)
Posted a 3-0 record while making six appearances out of the pen ... had a team best WHIP of .66 over 19.1 innings of work, surrendering just eight hits on the year ... held an ERA of 1.86, the top mark for any Spartan reliever with more than a 1.0 IP ... after giving up three runs against Virginia Tech in his season debut, delivered three straight shutout performances, holding opponents without a run over 6.2 innings ... had a strike out over 2.0 perfect innings against Fairfield (2.22), completing the Spartans' first-ever no-hitter in program history, on the way to his first win of the year ... held Charlotte to a single knock over 2.2 innings of shutout work (2.25) ... struck out a pair with a just a single walk in 2.0 innings of shutout relief against App State (2.29) ... took the hill the following day for a 6.0 inning appearance, surrendering a single run, while striking out six Mountaineer batters (3.1) in another winning decision ... gave up a single unearned run over 4.1 IP against Maryland Eastern Shore (3.7), striking out six in his last appearance, and third win, of the season.
Redshirt Sophomore (2019)
Finished the season by making 14 appearances for the Spartans, 12 of which came out of the bullpen … made his first mound appearance against Penn (March 2), finishing with four strikeouts and allowing one hit in 3.1 innings … earned the starting nod against Elon (March 12) where he recorded five strikeouts and surrendered four hits and three runs in 3.2 innings … emerged from the bullpen against Jacksonville (March 17) where he had a strikeout and surrendered four hits … logged three innings against Wake Forest (March 26), converting four strikeouts and scattering two hits … had his first multi-strikeout performance of the season against Western Carolina (March 30), finishing with two … recorded a strikeout in 2.1 innings of work against Furman (April 5) … saw 1.2 innings of action at North Carolina (April 9), finishing with a strikeout … worked a perfect inning against Campbell (April 16) as he struck out three batters in the process … took the mound for two innings against Wofford (May 17), recording one strikeout along the way … made his final appearance of the season versus Wofford (May 18), working 0.2 innings in the process.
Prior to UNCG
Played at St. John River State Community College last season pitching 17.1 innings with 21 strikeouts and played for the Vipers in summer ball pitching 29.2 innings with 34 strikeouts … was named as a 2017-18 Mid-Florida Conference Scholar Athlete Award ... played for Bones in the summer league and pitched 30.2 innings with a 3.20 ERA and 36 strikeouts and was selected to the SCBL All-Star Team and Southern Collegiate Baseball League.
