Redshirt Senior (2020)
Tied for a team-high eight relief appearances on the season, tossing 10.2 innings overall ... opened the season with 1.1 IP against Virginia Tech (2.15) ... shutout Fairfield over 1.2 innings of relief in the second game of a doubleheader (2.22) ... struck out three and held No. 25 North Carolina without a single run over 2.2 innings of work (3.3) ... delivered a second straight shutout appearance with 1.0 IP against Maryland Eastern Shore (3.8).

Redshirt Junior (2019)
Closed out the season ranked in the top five of four major statistical categories including appearances (t-2nd-27), relief appearances (t-2nd-27), opposing batting average (3rd-.221) and earned run average (4th-3.97) … had his first of 10 multi-strikeout performances on the season at Virginia Tech (Feb. 25) as he fanned three Hokie batters over 2.2 innings in the setback … established his single-game season-high in strikeouts (seven) versus Penn (March 2) after he logged 3.2 innings on the mound … came through with two strikeouts versus Jacksonville (March 16) … had a pair of strikeouts versus crosstown rival N.C. A&T (March 19) over two innings of work … opened SoCon action with a pair of strikeouts at Mercer (March 23) … closed out a three-inning stint against Wake Forest (March 26) with five strikeouts and two hits allowed … had the first of three straight multi-strikeout performances against Western Carolina (March 30), fanning two Catamounts … had two strikeouts in one inning of work against Furman (April 7) … capped off an outing against George Mason (April 14) with three strikeouts … came out of the bullpen for three innings at Samford (April 18), finishing with three strikeouts … combined for two strikeouts and two innings of work against Elon (April 23) and The Citadel (April 27) … saw action in two games against ETSU (May 4-5) where he recorded one strikeout … ended the series against VMI (May 10-12) with two strikeouts … took to the mound on two occasions against Wofford (May 17-18), recording one strikeout … made one relief appearance at the SoCon Baseball Championships (May 24) against Mercer, working 0.2 innings along the way.

Prior to UNCG
Played two seasons at Century College and last year, he made 14 appearances, earning a 5-2 record in 36.1 innings with 53 strikeouts, an average of 13.1 strikeouts per nine innings ... earned four letters at Ankeny High School and he was a prep All-Star and an All-Conference selection … in senior season, he went 5-4 with 55.2 innings and 58 strikeouts and a 2.16 ERA.

He is the son of Mindy and Jim Voigt and is majoring in economics.
