2021-22 (Junior)
Played in and started 10 games … Season was ended with a non-COVID-related illness … He averaged 5.4 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per contest … Reached double figures in scoring three times … Scored a season-high 14 points against Towson on Dec. 14 … Tallied 13 points each in games against Coppin State on Nov. 15 and Elon on Nov. 30 … Finished with five or more rebounds seven times … Grabbed a career-best 11 rebounds against Northern Kentucky on Nov. 12 … Was 3-for-3 on 3-pointers in a win over Coppin State … Ended season with 169 career points and 158 career rebounds … Helped UNCG participate in the postseason CBI.

2020-21 (Sophomore)
Averaged 3.8 points in 13.8 minutes this season … Played in each game this season … Scored in double figures four times … Tallied a career best 18 points along with eight rebounds in a road setback at Coppin State … Scored 12 points against Norfolk State and 16 against USC Upstate … That was during a stretch of games in which he scored in double figures in three straight games and four of UNCG’s next five games … Also, tallied 11 points at North Carolina A&T … Had nine games in which he grabbed at least five rebounds, including four in a row from Dec. 1-13 … Made four of his 16 3-pointers against USC Upstate.

2019-20 (Freshman)
Made collegiate debut with five minutes against Kennesaw State (12/4), pulling down a single rebound... scored five points against William Peace (12/28), his first in a Spartan uniform, while adding a pair of rebounds, an assist, one block and a steal ... had two boards against Samford (2.9).

Spent two seasons at Wesleyan Christian Academy where he was coached by Keith Gatlin …. Was an all-conference selection … Participated in Triad All-Star Game … Played six seasons for the Kernersville Bulls … Coached by Rodney White.

Born March 15, 1999 … Son of Kevin and Tommie Thompson, both of whom attended North Carolina State … Was a member of the National Honor Society and had perfect attendance in high school.
