2023 (Junior)
Appeared in nine matches…finished the season with 69 assists, 22 digs and two blocks…earned a game high of 14 kills at App State on Sept. 9.
2022 (Sophomore): Appeared in 30 matches and 92 sets…recorded her first collegiate solo block against Montana on Sept. 16…notched 137 kills and 53 digs on the season…put up 46 total blocks for the Spartans in the season.
Fall 2021 (Freshman): Made an appearance in 28 matches (97 sets) as a true freshman… Made her collegiate debut against Radford (8/27)… Earned a start in 26 matches…Set a career-high 12 kills against Norfolk State (9/3)…Set a career-high six total blocks three times: American (9/4), Campbell (9/17), and Mercer (10/29)… Finished third on the team in blocks with a season total of 67.0.
Prior To UNCG
A four-time All-District performer and a two-time First Team Lake Effect Conference championship game MVP. She was a Second Team North Coast League selection. Carter also helped her team to an appearance in the Ohio state semifinals. As a track performer, Carter was a track regional qualifier in the long jump. Carter played in 88 sets as a sophomore then stepped into an expanded role as a junior, averaging 2.3 kills per set in helping the Lancers advance to the D-II state final four. She notched a career-high 17 kills in Gilmour's regional final victory against NDCL. In helping the Lancers start strong in 2020, she was fourth on the team with 2.3 kills per set. Carter plans to study business.
