2007: Posted a .254 batting average... got the starting nod in 54 of 59 games for UNCG... in his career-high 197 appearances at the plate, he tallied 50 hits with eight doubles, one triple, and seven homeruns (team-best)... logged 37 RBI, tallied a career-high 35 runs scored, and had 81 total bases... went 5-6 in stolen bases... finished with a .969 fielding percentage... ranked fourth in RBI and fifth in stolen bases, steal attempts, plate appearances, at-bats, and games started... went 3-for-3 with four runs, five RBI, a double, and a homerun in the 13-12 victory over Cornell (Mar. 20)... went 3-for-4 with two runs, five RBI, and two homeruns in the 8-6 defeat over Georgia Southern (May 25)... named to the 2007 SoCon All-Tournament team... member of the 2007 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2006: Appeared in 49 games and started 45 in his second season with the Spartans... was third on the team with a .303 batting average on 50 hits in 165 at bats... second on the squad with a .412 slugging percentage and with 12 doubles... led the team in sacrifice bunts with nine... third in stolen bases with nine... fifth in runs scored (21) and on-base percentage (.356)... accumulated 19 RBI and 11 walks... went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI in the 4-3 victory against North Carolina A&T (Mar. 29)... was 3-for-5 with one RBI and two doubles in a 20-10 win over Appalachian State (Apr. 7)... recorded two RBI and a home run in a 2-for-4 showing against Georgia Southern (Apr. 23)... went 6-for-10 with five RBI in the three game sweep of Wofford (May 12-13)... was 2-for-4 with one RBI against Elon (May 19).
2005: Started 16 games, appearing in 23 games as a freshman... posted a .227 batting average... recorded first collegiate hit and RBI in a 1-for-1 showing in an 8-6 win over Ohio (Mar. 6)... went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI in 14-6 victory against The Citadel (Mar. 12)... cranked his first roundtripper and scored three runs in a 3-for-4 showing versus East Tennessee State (Mar. 26).
Summer Ball: 2007 member of the Luray (VA) Wranglers as a catcher and outfielder for coach Mike Bocock.
High School: Earned four varsity letters at
Charlotte Latin High School under head coach Fred Conger... named 2004 North Carolina Independent Schools Player of the Year... three-time All-CISAA conference selection (2002-04)... named all-state in 2003 and 2004.
