At UNCG
Enters his senior season ranked sixth on the school’s career rebounding list at 638; needs 11 to move into fifth (James Maye, 649, 1998-2003)... his 247 offensive rebounds in his career ranks third in the school’s Division I era (since 1991)... has appeared in all 91 games during his UNCG career.
Junior Season (2007-08)
Appeared in all 30 games with a team-high 25 starts during the season... finished the season fifth in the Southern Conference in rebounding at 8.4 per game... had eight double-doubles during the regular season, including five in SoCon play regular season play and another in the tourney... shot a team-best 51.2 percent from the field, including 57.6 percent against conference opponents... scored 10 or more points 18 times during the regular season... had a career-high 28 points at College of Charleston on Jan. 29, shooting 11-of-19 from the floor, also grabbing nine rebounds... closed out the regular season with one of the best performances of his career going for 23 points against Elon on 9-of-11 shooting from the floor and followed that up with a 21-point, 11-rebound game against College of Charleston in the tourney... led the team in steals with 37... averaged a team-high 32.4 minutes per contest.
Sophomore Season (2007-08)
Appeared in all 31 games with 30 starts on the season... UNCG’s second-leading rebounder at 6.2 per game, which was also Top 15 in the conference... fourth-leading scorer at 8.9 ppg... shot 50 percent from the floor during the season, finishing in the Top 15 in the SoCon... scored in double figures 12 times during the season... five games with 10 or more rebounds in the season, two of which resulted in double-doubles... had five or more rebounds in 25 out of 31 games on the year... had nine points and 10 rebounds in the season-opening win over Georgia Tech... averaged 10.0 ppg in SoCon regular season... eighth in the SoCon in offensive rebounding (2.38)
Freshman Season (2006-07)
Earned SoCon All-Freshman honors... was a starter most of his freshman season, appearing in all 30 games with 27 starts... played 13 or more minutes in every game and played 20 or more in 27 of them... sixth on the team in scoring at 5.8 ppg and second in rebounding at 6.5 rpg... ranked fourth in the SoCon in offensive rebounding, with 2.63 per contest... enjoyed his best game of the season when he recorded 23 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Delaware (Dec. 23)... had five games with 10 or more rebounds during the season, resulting in two double-doubles... also had 18 points and 12 rebounds in an overtime loss at Wofford (Feb. 5)... had eight points and eight rebounds in his collegiate debut at Marshall (Nov. 11)... was hampered by foul trouble at times during his rookie season (fouling out of four games and finishing four more games with four fouls)... second on the team in blocked shots with 19... averaged 6.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in the 18 SoCon games (16 starts).
Prior to UNCG
Attended Fork Union Military Academy after a successful career at North Mecklenburg HS in Charlotte... ranked among the Top 125 Prep School players by Hoop Scoop while at Fork Union... averaged 16 ppg and 10.5 rpg at Fork Union, where he was one of six players to go on to Division I programs... as a senior at North Mecklenburg, he averaged 15.4 ppg and 10.9 rpg in leading the squad to the Class 4A state title and a No. 16 national ranking... averaged 14 points and eight rebounds as a junior at North Mecklenburg... played in the North Carolina East-West All-Star game in 2005 and was an all-conference selection as a senior at North Mecklenburg.
