2005: Played in five games as a backup catcher in first season at UNCG...recorded his first Spartan hit with a single in UNCG’s 11-2 win at Furman...picked up his first RBI in a 14-0 win at Wofford

Mount Olive College: Saw action in three games last season at Mount Olive...hit .286 with one RBI and two runs scored.

High School: Three-year letterwinner as a catcher and third baseman for coach Steve Evans at Person High School...twice named to the PAC-6 all-conference team...helped guide the Rockets to the PAC-6 Tournament Championship as a junior...holds the single season home run record...named best offensive player as a senior.
