2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 16 contests, throwing nine innings … finished the season with a 1-0 record, earning a win over Marist (March 10) by hurling just one third of an inning … did not give up an earned run in his first 10 appearances … threw a third of an inning in the Spartans’ 8-5, 11-inning win at No. 16 NC State (March19).

High School: Played both first base and pitched for Christ the King Catholic High School…  was a member of the Canadian Junior National Team and had to opportunity to travel to Cuba and the Dominican Republic for a pair of tournaments before playing in the World Junior Qualification Tournament in Cartegena, Columbia... in Columbia, his team qualified for the 2012 World Junior Baseball Championship in Seoul, South Korea … helped Team Ontario capture the 2012 Canada Cup title … allowed just a run on three hits with five strikeouts over five innings the 4-2 tournament-opening victory over Quebec … also won Canadian championships as a member of his hometown Georgetown Eagles as a peewee in 2007 and with the bantams in 2009 ... competed for the Ontario Blue Jays as the team's No. 1 pitcher ... posted an ERA of 1.67 while compiling an 11-3 record and striking out 75 batters.
