Junior Season (2009): Pitched 39 1/3 innings in his nine starts in 14 appearances for the year ... had his best start of the season against North Carolina A&T (4/28) when he allowed only two runs on three hits in 5 1/3 innings of work while striking out four ... recorded the win in the 14-4 win over Furman (5/15) after allowing only three runs in 5 2/3 innings ... struck out 24 batters on the season.
Sophomore Season (2008): Made six starts in 19 appearances in 2008 ... finished the year with a 4-3 record and had one save ... posted a 5.28 ERA for the year with 32 strikeouts ... allowed one run or fewer in 14 of his 19 appearances ... had a season-high four strikeouts against Connecticut (2/29) and Elon (4/27).
Freshman Season (2007): Finished the season with a 6.65 ERA and 37 strikeouts ... appeared 18 games with nine starts ... compiled a 1-4 record with two saves... in his 47.1 innings on the mound, Shelton retired 37 batters and walked just 17 ... tied for team lead in saves (2) ... ranked third in games started and fifth in innings pitched, strikeouts, and batters struck out looking (10) ... logged a season-high six strikeouts against Georgia Southern (Apr. 1) ... notched saves in the 9-8 win over Wofford (Apr. 21) and the 8-6 victory over Georgia Southern (May 25) ... member of the 2007 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
