UNC Greensboro

Kevin Westlake joined UNCG's baseball coaching staff in September of 2021. He is now in his fourth season with the Spartans and is an assistant coach, serving as the first base coach during UNCG baseball games.
 
Westlake was originally hired as a volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2021 by former UNCG Head Coach Billy Godwin.

"We are excited Kevin Westlake is joining our program," said Godwin. "He brings a great deal of knowledge to our program.  Kevin was a proven winner as a collegiate pitcher at Louisburg and Campbell.  He is a great asset to the university, our program and the Greensboro community in which he grew up."
 
Westlake was a left-handed pitcher for the Campbell Camels from 2018-2021. During his time at Campbell, he made an appearance in the 2019 & 2021 NCAA Regional Tournament. He was a member of the 2019 Big South Regular and Tournament Championship team as well as the 2021 Regular season Championship team.
 
Prior to his time at Campbell, Westlake was a LHP for Louisburg College. He made an appearance in the Region X Tournament in 2017 and 2018. Westlake was also a site director for Colt Youth Baseball, here in Greensboro.
