2007: Finished his junior season with the team’s best average of .359... got the starting nod in 54 of his 55 games played... led the team in slugging percentage (.530), on-base percentage (.455), and triples (3)... tallied 71 hits in 198 at-bats with 42 runs, 13 doubles, five homeruns, 45 RBI, and 105 total bases... went 2-for-2 against Army (Mar. 3) and Wofford (May 24)... in the 12-3 victory over Elon on April 27, Feltes went 3-for-6 with two runs scored, three RBI, and a homerun... ranked eighth in the Southern Conference in on-base percentage... member of the 2007 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2006: Saw action in 58 games and made 55 starts for the Spartans... finished fourth on the squad with a .301 batting average... led the team in runs scored with 46 and in doubles with 13... third on the team with 63 total hits... posted a .411 slugging percentage and a .979 fielding percentage... second on the team with 17 stolen bases... went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI at Appalachian State (Apr. 8)... tallied a double and a triple and was 2-for-5 with 2 RBI in a 10-6 victory at Western Carolina (May 7)... was 3-for-4 and grabbed 2 RBI in the 5-3 win over Elon (May 19).
2005: Started 22 games while seeing action in 32 during his freshman season at UNCG... collected his first career hit in a 1-for-3 showing against Delaware (Feb. 20)... smacked his first roundtripper in a 5-3 loss at Furman (Apr. 2)... went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two doubles in an 8-6 win against Georgia Southern (Apr. 9).
High School: Earned two varsity letters at
St. Ignatius High School for head coach Brian Morgan... named Cleveland Plain-Dealer Player of the Year in 2004... first team All-Ohio State at second base... selected as the Northern Ohio 7-County Player of the Year... named first team All-Cuyahoga River Conference... tied a single-season school record for home runs (10) and broke his own school record of 48 runs scored by crossing the plate 51 times... recorded a .939 slugging percentage and .626 on-base percentage in helping St. Ignatius to the Cuyahoga River Baseball Conference championship and the school’s third Division I state final four appearance since 2000.
