Prior to UNCG: Corbett earned three letters at DeLand High School and as a senior, he recorded a .408 average with a home run, five doubles, 15 RBIs … as a junior, he hit for a .455 average and led DeLand to the FHSAA Class 9A – District 2 Championship … as a sophomore, he hit .326 with three doubles, a triple and drove in 11 runs … was a preseason 2018 Rawlings/Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention and was invited to participate in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association’s 2018 All-Star Baseball Classic … he was a scholar-athlete award winner during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 academic years.

Competed for the Central Florida Gators and was a 2017 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American Honorable Mention … was named to the Showcase Top Prospect team honorable mention and has been a member of the 2016 16U Perfect Game World Series Champions and his Gators were ranked No. 1 in 2016 for all 16U Travel Ball teams … the Gators were also ranked ninth in 2017 for all 17U Travel Ball teams. 

Personal: He is the son of Jennifer and Craig Corbett and is majoring in business.
