Redshirt Senior (2020)
Held a 3.20 ERA on the year while going 2-0 in four starts ... made his season debut against San Diego State in Conway, S.C. (2.16) ... had a quality start against Fairfield (2.23), holding the Stags to a single unearned run over 6.0 innings tossed ... he also struck out six batters over that game against Fairfield while allowing just three hits in his first winning decision of the year ... gave up just a single earned run over 4.1 innings against Appalachian State (3.1), striking out six and surrendering a single knock ... closed the year with another quality start and winning decision against Maryland Eastern Shore (3.8), sitting down a season-high of seven batters on strikes.
Redshirt Junior (2019)
Finished among the top five in four major statistical categories including games started (3rd-10), saves (3rd-1), innings pitched (5th-46.2), appearances (5th-17) … made 17 appearances for the Spartans, including 10 starts … tossed 6.2 innings, finishing with seven strikeouts and allowing one run in his season debut against Quinnipiac (Feb. 16) … logged 4.2 innings, recording a pair of strikeouts, at Virginia Tech (Feb. 25) … logged 6.1 innings, recording three strikeouts along the way, against Penn (March 4) … established his single-game season-high in strikeouts (eight) as he hurled six innings versus Princeton (March 10), posting his second win of the season … fanned three hitters against Jacksonville (March 16) … combined for four strikeouts and 4.1 innings against Wake Forest (March 26) and Western Carolina (March 30) … made his final start of the slate against Campbell (April 16), allowing three hits and three runs … had his longest relief outing of the season (four innings) against The Citadel (April 28), recording seven strikeouts and allowing three hits … came through with a pair of strikeouts against VMI (May 12) … fanned three Winthrop hitters on May 14 as the Spartans claimed the 9-3 victory … made two relief appearances to close out the season against Wofford (May 18) and Mercer (May 24).
Redshirt Sophomore (2018)
Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen … Logged 15.0 innings with 17 strikeouts earning an 0-1 record … Struck out a season-high six hitters in a season-best 3.1 innings against Winthrop (May 8) … Logged multiple innings in five appearances … Struck out at least one hitter in eight of his 10 appearances … Struck out two hitters in 2.0 innings of work at High Point (Apr. 10) … Struck out three hitters in 1.2 innings against ETSU (Apr. 14) … Made an appearance against The Citadel (May 11), striking out one hitter in 1.2 innings … Struck out three hitters in an inning against Elon (May 15).
Redshirt Freshman (2017)
Made three appearances out of the bullpen… Threw 1.2 innings in his first outing against Michigan State (Feb. 25)… In his first inning, struck out the side on ten pitches… Against Maryland Eastern Shore (Mar. 5), went 0.2 innings without allowing a hit… Made his last appearance against Lafayette (Mar. 16), striking out a hitter.

Prior to UNCG
Competed for the West Wilkes High School varsity team and head coach Drew Ward for four seasons … Earned 2015 Atlantic Region Honorable Mention honors from Perfect Game … Helped pace the Blackhawks to a 23-6 overall record, 12-2 conference record, a Mountain Athletic Conference championship and an appearance in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs … Posted an 8-2 record, 2.22 earned run average, six complete games and two shutouts as a senior … Struck out 110 batters in 63 innings and held opposing hitters to a .167 average … Fanned 16 batters in a 7-1 victory over Allegheny High School … Also hit .295 with 27 runs scored and 10 RBI … Named to the all county and all conference teams in both baseball and football and has collected seven varsity letters between the two sports … Made 12 appearances on the mound last season and finished with a 3.32 ERA as well as a 4-5 record … Struck out 93 batters in 53.2 innings pitched and held opposing batters to a .166 average … Hit .316 at the plate in 76 at bats, tallying 24 hits, 23 runs scored, three doubles, a triple, three home runs and 19 RBI … Went 7-for-8 in stolen base attempts … Competed the last two summers for American Legion Post 31 under head coach Terry Johnson … Was the pitcher for the Region 7 team that won the gold medal at the North Carolina State Games … A four-year honor student and member of the Beta Club.
