Redshirt Freshman Season (2009): Played in 21 games during his redshirt freshman season, including making one start against Elon (4/3) ... hit .238 on the year in 21 at-bats ... went 2-2 against Appalachian State (5/9) and added a stolen base ... had his lone RBI of the season on a sacrifice fly in the 3-2 extra-inning loss to Furman (5/14) ... went 1-1 in games against Campbell (2/25), Samford (3/29) and NC State (4/21) ... scored his only run of the season against Kent State (2/22) after drawing a walk.
